YEAR: 2019

CONCEPT: ANNUAL REPORT

Objective: develop a brochure, annual report, or direct mail for any company that provided information regarding the companies products or service.

Goal: Use  Finishline’s upcoming Winter collection and develop an annual report that was interesting and appealing for the viewer.

This annual report was created with the help of Photoshop and InDesign to develop spreads and cover design. Applied mockups were also added to showcase how it was printed and advertised.

PROJECT TYPE: PUBLICATION

MADE FOR: PUBLICATION DESIGN

YEAR: 2018

CONCEPT: PGH YOU

Objective: Develop the 6th edition of PGH YOU magazine with a team of designers, photographers, and videographer’s. Goal: challenge us as not only as individuals, but as team and test how well we could execute our objective together.

The team and I compiled a list of Pittsburghs hotspots and thought

it would be best to present them as a tour guide for those unfamiliar

or new to the city. We then broke down the hotspots into sections and included a one of a kind color coded map of Pittsburgh so the viewer could locate them easier.

Tasks included photoshoots, interviews, research, template designing and much more.  Visits to the  sites and local businesses were a priority so that we could gather as much information as possible as well as present the sites and establishments in the best possible.

After gathering all of the content, we turned it into full spread articles with photos, shot by our photographers, interviews, combined with well designed layouts by our graphic designs including myself.

We styled each spread accordingly to match the theme of the hotspots and companies. A full functioning website was developed for our audience to visit if they couldn’t access the physical copy of the magazine.

As Chief Editor, I provided art direction for the photographers, designers, and videographers and discussed concepts and ideas with each team member on a regular basis.

In addition, I helped develop and implement content strategies that would strengthen the reach, perception, and identity of PGH YOU, particularly in support of market presence, media placement, and advertisement.

Programs used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Aftereffects, and Adobe Premiere.

I must note, previous classes spent on average 11 weeks to create the magazine. My team however, spent only 8 and executed very well.
